English: Portrait of Poggio Bracciolini, Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence. This is a copy by Cristofano Dell'Altissimo of a painting that was in the possession of Bishop Paolo Giovio of Como. The first mention of the original (now lost?) painting is from 1521. Poggio's Biographer Ernst Walser thinks it was genuine. Ernst Walser: Poggius Florentinus. 1914, p. 312 f. [1]
