Alex Woolf
Alex Woolf (født 1963) er en britisk middelalderhistoriker knyttet til Universitetet i St. Andrews.[1] Han har spesialisert seg på historien til De britiske øyer og Norden i tidlig middelalder, spesielt folkene i Wales og Skottland. Han er forfatter av det bind i New Edinburgh History of Scotland, «From Pictland to Alba», som dekker perioden mellom årene 789 og 1070. Boken ble i 2008 kåret av Saltire Society som årets beste bok i fagfeltet historie.[2]
